During this period, which is the low season in Mykonos (it’s winter time and the sea is pretty cold to swim), you only find a non-stop flight from London to Mykonos with Easyjet. It flies from Gatwick (LGW) to Mykonos in 4 hours and the ticket is at 130 GBP (including the return).
How to get to Mykonos from London, with a flight to Athens and then a ferry from Athens to Mykonos
You can find very cheap airtickets from London to Athens almost every month of the year. And there is always a ferry connecting the two ports of Athens (Piraeus port and Rafina port), with Mykonos. The ferry time from Athens to Mykonos is around 5 hours with the slow ferry (available all year round) or even 2 hours with the fast ferry (available only during the peak months). Costs of the ferry tickets vary from 30 euros to 60 euros per person for one way. So, it doesn’t make sense to get this option, instead of flying directly (or with a one-stop) from London to Mykonos, unless you want to spend a couple of days to see Athens.
What about Ryanair and Volotea? Do they fly from London to Mykonos?
